Victor Gallo

Victoriano "Victor" Gallo is Ironbound Films' Director of Media Services.

Born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Victor has always been obsessed with movies, computers, and movies about computers (Tron specifically). At the University of Texas at Austin, Victor met others who shared his passion, but who spoke about it in terms that brought on slightly fewer beatings: "the convergence of filmmaking and digital technology."

Victor first put his knowledge and enthusiasm to work at Texas-based Flat Black Films. As an animation artist, he helped create Flat Black's signature shorts, which layer animation on documentary-style interviews. The end results are trippy character studies that draw out the quirks, drives, and very essence of their subjects.

Victor then seized an opportunity in New York to create some of the Web's first video content. At The FeedRoom, Victor produced and edited short-form news packages that have since become ubiquitous on the Web. His last few months at The FeedRoom were spent streaming video for Playboy TV's Web site. On the verge of a cataclysmic showdown with his staunch Catholic upbringing, Victor determined that it was time to move on.

Victor joined Ironbound in 2005. In his leisure time, he produces and edits short films and music videos. His girlfriend Brooke barely tolerates his work ethic. Victor lives with a roommate — a hauntingly similar version of himself — in Brooklyn, New York.
