Yung Punx: A Punk Parable
DOCUMENTARY, 64 MINUTES, WORLD PREMIERE 2021 DOC NYC, GRAVITAS VENTURES
YUNG PUNX: A PUNK PARABLE tells the story of the punk band Color Killer, formed by four little kids, eight-to-twelve years old, from working-class Massachusetts for a talent show. An avalanche of bookings, studio sessions, and press hits follows, eventually landing Color Killer on the stage of the prestigious Warped Tour music festival. Wary audiences and warring parents create a rocky road to rock-and-roll stardom. Rick and Morty/SNL’s Chris Parnell narrates.
YUNG PUNX: A PUNK PARABLE screened at both top-tier and children’s film festivals across the US, usually followed by a young rock band’s performance; premiered on PBS; entertained passengers of all ages on Delta flights; and is now available on all digital platforms.
